Trades we supply
Plasterers
Float and set, skimming, rendering and screeding, on new build, refurbishment and social housing.
What a good one looks like
Plastering is a trade where the difference shows up under a light rather than on a snag list, so a good plasterer works to the light on site rather than to the clock. External render and internal skim are genuinely different skills and it is worth saying which you want.
It is also where the pay rate earns its keep. Good people have a choice of sites, so the rate you set decides who is willing to take the job. We show you that rate and add £25, which means you can raise it without our margin moving with it.
How our pricing worksCards and tickets
- CSCS blue skilled worker card
- NVQ Level 2 in plastering
- Own tools and mixing equipment where required
What moves the rate
- Internal or external work
- Whether the operative supplies mixing equipment
- Occupied property or void
- Season, since render is weather dependent
We do not publish a rate table. Pay moves with the trade, the season and the location, so any figure printed here would be wrong within a month. Ring and we will tell you what the job is genuinely paying today.
